Hervey Bay -Gateway to Heritage listed Fraser Island, and

be reached by car, plane, train or coach.
Self Drive: Hervey Bay is only about 300km drive north along the Bruce Highway from Brisbane, Queensland's capital. It is a comfortable 3.5 hours drive. By Rail: The high speed Tilt Train operates daily between Brisbane and Rockhampton. There is a free shuttle bus from Hervey Bay to the Train station at Maryborough West. By Coach: Numerous regular coach / bus services service the Fraser Coast from north and South. By Air: Direct Jet flights from Jetstar and Virgin Blue are now available from Sydney with Quantaslink offering several flights between Brisbane and Hervey Bay daily. |
